Hemendra
if am configuring any channel/tag as a 'Write Analog' actual value is not displaying if it is not changed by our SCADA. one solution i checked that one channel tag configured at 2 time, one time as Write Analog and another as Read Analog and use it appropriately. This feels bit odd to me, any other simple way for this.
AzeoTech
It depends on the driver. Some, like Modbus, support creating a read tag (for example Read Holding) that you can also set and DAQFactory will generate the appropriate write command. Most others do not have this and output channels only update when the driver has successfully set the output.
Hemendra
ok, true for Modbus. I am talking about Allen Bradley DF1 and Mitsubishi drivers. Is there any solution to update Channel value/s at regular interval even it configured as a 'Write Analog' in IO Type ?
AzeoTech
No, for those you'll need to create two channels, one to read, one to write.
