  1. Hello! I am trying to acquiring data from a ModbusRTU Slave. But I have got some problems with the configuration of the appropriate device or the channel. I always receive 2 answers. None of them doesn't contain the information. Tx (17:13:03.000): \001\003\000\034\000\002\100\001 Rx (17:13:03.002): \001\003\000\034\000\002\100\001\001\003 Rx (17:13:03.009): \004\000\000\000\000\250\051 Tx (17:13:04.000): \001\003\000\034\000\002\100\001 Rx (17:13:04.001): \001\003\000\034\000\002\100\001\001 Rx (17:13:04.008): \003\004\000\000\000\000\250\051 As you can see in the screenshot - in the Command/Alert window I always receive the "CRC Fail"-Message. The Baudrate, Com-Port, and so on are configured correctly. Could you help me to solve the issue or say me what I am doing wrong? Thank you in advance. Best regards Slava
  2. Hello! I am trying to use a global variable to save the state of a component. The variable is set during the initialization to default value. There is a button which should call following quick (toggle) sequence when clicked: if (my_global_Var = 1) my_Var = 0 component.myComponent.BackColor = RGB(212,212,212) else my_global_Var=1 component.myComponent.BackColor = RGB(212,212,0) endif When clicking the button I always receive the same error message: C1070 Not enough parameters for the given operator: Line 1 - Unable to perform quick sequence action Line 1 contains following code: if (my_global_Var = 1) The same problem when creating a property for the component or creating a virtual channel for saving the value globally. Thank you in advance for your response. Best regards SLK Line 1 contains following code: if (my_global_Var = 1)
  3. Hello! I have created a project. To prevent it from being changed I entered a password for editing. If I try to open it now - I am not able to activate the edit mode (under Edit - Edit mode) . I am not able to find the possiblity for entering the predefined password. The project remains in the "Operate" mode - refer to the attached screenshot. Thank you in advance for your help. Best regards SLK

  5. Hello together, I have got following problem: I am trying to handle some data which I receive from a serial device. Sending request to the slave works so far. In the monitor I am able to see the Response string: Rx (15:43:25.533): \xC1\x14\x00d\x00\x00H\x07\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x08\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x08\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x14\x11\x1F\x00\x04\x00\x00\x00`\x83 The values displayed here are valid. I have problems with further accessing/handling this data. I try to assign it to a string in following way: private.strOut = Device.RS485_Test.Read(46) The resulting string is 46 characters long. (checked with the GetLength function). The values it contains, don't really make sense - I guess I have to convert them? Subsequently I want to to use this string for accessing a particular value (e.g. the 35th character in the string) My goal is to assing this value to a channel and to log it (with a time stamp). Do you have any idea/solution for me? Best regards and thank you in advance SLK
