  1. OK. Seems to be working. I now have 2 graphs coming from 2 channels - "tanklevel" with no persist, "tanklevel2" with persist. Only problem is when I scroll "tanklevel2" and I'm not extremely careful with the mouse, it may scroll a little vertically also. I tried playing with the freeze options but that doesn't seem to help.
  2. Thanks. I've set my "Persist" to 10 seconds on my channel "level" and have created a graph displaying "level" with no [0] to access all it's history. How do I scroll back in time on the graph to view this history?
  3. Can DAQF graph logged data or must it be graphed using Excel or something like it? If DAQF can do it, how is it done?
  4. I'm building a small DAQF system with 2 screens. How do I switch between screens in runtime mode?
  5. Thanks for your help and patience. I was able to add this to my CTL file and it's functioning on my screen. Now to try incorporating it into the "auto" channel event.
  6. Thanks for your help. So if I understand correctly, there is no animated symbol that rotates between left, up, and right like a real HOA switch, and I have to, for example, place three separate symbols on the screen showing the L, U, and R positions configured to produce the H, O, and A actions when each is pressed?
  7. Just getting back into this after the holidays. I'm using Pro 19.1. 3 images to create a 3 position switch? What do you mean? Do you somehow lay the images on top of each other? How do you make this a 3 position switch?
  8. Thanks. So how do I create the HOA switch? I suppose I have to configure a 3-postion switch for that. What would that look like?
  9. I have an existing Channel Event controlling a DO to toggle a valve based on an analog tank level signal. I want to add an HOA switch to open or close the valve at will or allow the Event to do its thing. I have very little coding experience. Thanks, Terry
  10. I need to configure a MODBUS DO to start and stop a pump to maintain level in a tank. I already have an analog level signal coming in and displaying properly, and manual control of the DO working in response to a valve switch. Thanks, Terry
  11. OK. Now for a more complicated one. I have a tank level that needs multiple color transitions for lolo, lo, normal, hi, and hihi. Here's what I'd like to see, as the signal rises from zero: Red 99.9 and below Orange 100-102.9 Green 103-110.9 Orange 111-111.9 Red 112 and above Having a little trouble getting my head wrapped around this. Thanks, Terry

    Alarm Summary

So how would I do the running list?
  13. Thank you. I tried numerous things while shooting in the dark. I would not have thought of this.
  14. New at this. Going crazy trying to get conditional colors of a Variable Value Component's background to behave as I want. All I want to do is have the background blue normally then go red when the value reaches a high threshold. I have, for instance, set the blue threshold to zero and the red threshold to 95. Problem is, when the value is between 0 and 95 both colors seem to be active and the background is purple. What am I missing? Thanks, Terry

    Alarm Summary

New at this. I was surprised and disappointed that DAQF does not include an alarm banner on the operating screen showing all active alarms. What is typically done to allow easy access to alarm information to the operator? Thanks, Terry
