SteveE
I am evaluating DAQFactory for use with a MODBUS TCP device. When I use the Device Configuration and select ModbusASCII -> Select, I get the following error: C1033 Unable to load device driver DSXMODBUSA.dll, check file path and make sure manufacturer's drivers are installed. It appears that I am missing dsxmodbusa.dll. Does this file not ship with the product, and where can I get it? Thanks.
AzeoTech
You must be using an old copy of DAQFactory, using a document created in an old copy of DAQFactory, or have remnants of an old copy of DAQFactory. To do Modbus, you should go to Quick - Device Configuration and select New Serial / Ethernet, then setup from there (and select Modbus from there). Do not select Modbus from QUick - Device Configuration unless you created the device. What you are seeing is it trying to access the old (we're talking several years old) driver. SteveE
Got it; thanks! I also found and followed the procedure in the manual for setting up a modbus tcp channel which reflects what you stated. Appreciate the tip.
