free mail servers

Hi DF Team;

Now i'm working on DF's Email support. But i can't reach achivement about that. is using free mail servers kind

of problem for this situation? (ex. : hotmail,yahoo,gxm,aim,gmail,zoho) what do you suggest about it. i tried

many things that appear in userguide.

Many servers require SSL, which DAQFactory does not currently support. You have to find a server that will allow emails to be sent without SSL. Perhaps others have some recommendations on ones that work. Most people use their corporate email.

I've had success using a local mail server (hMailServer in my case) to reroute DAQFactory's emails to SSL-based accounts including gmail. I didn't get fancy with attachments or HTML encoding but it did have the benefit of keeping my personal account login outside of any DF code.
