burt4munger
I defined a com serial device once using serial port 25. I later changed the device and port definitions to new values. In safe mode, I use quick..Device Configuration, select the device, then select the serial port that I want to delete and click the delete button to the right of the Serial Port / Ethernet Port header. It prompts "are you sure you wish to delete this communications connection?", and I click yes. It does not disappear from the list, but I change the device to use the desired port and click ok. Exiting and restarting DAQ still causes an initial error message that it can't load com port 25. I did a quick search of the registry but didn't see where this might be controlled. How can I delete that connection?

AzeoTech
support@ If you can't delete it, you can always just set the port # to 0 to disable it.
