Antony
I have a Campbells Scientific 03101 Anemometer and a Labjack UE9. How do I connect the anemometer to the Labjack and then configure DaqFactory to receive the data?
AzeoTech
It appears this device outputs an AC sin wave proportional to the wind speed. You may be able to simply use a pulse counter to capture the speed, but the details of this would be a better question for LabJack then here since we are the software side and this is a hardware question. As for setting it up, pulse count or frequency count, these are both covered in the DAQFactory LabJack application guide along with samples. Antony
Thanks for the Hardware tip. I now have the anemometer hooked to a KTA-245 dual frequency analog converter. The KTA-245 output is bridged through a 10k resistor and plugged into AIN0 on the LabJack. How do I configure DaqFactory to receive the data coming from the anemometer? AzeoTech
This is covered in detail in the DAQFactory LabJack application guide, and in summary in the Quick Tutorial, available in PDF and in paper form in your LabJack box.
