UE9 and Thermocouple

Is it possible to connect a thermocouple directly into a UE9? I have been using an INOR transmitter to connect my thermocouples. Also, I am aware that DAQFactory offers a conversion for thermocouples "TypeK(Voltage, CJC). What is the voltage and how would I calculate the CJC?

I am asking these questions hoping to decrease the amount of fluctation in my temperature readings.

You can. The issue is the resolution of the UE9. You need to crank it up to the max since a thermocouple outputs from about -5 to +5 or so millivolts. Better would be to use an amplifier. Voltage is just the reading from the UE9, adjusted for any amplification. CJC is the temperature of the terminal on the UE9 that the thermocouple is plugged into. You can either put a constant, like 21 for the room temperature, or read the internal UE9 temperature, which is some extended channel # like 130 or so. See the UE9 manual to get the exact number.
