AzeoTech
Well, first I have to ask why you wouldn't just combine your two runtimes into a single document. There is no built in facility for this, but I suppose you could do it by triggering a second instance of DF loading the other runtime, and then quiting the primary instance immediately. Use system.shellexecute() to trigger the second instance, and system.quit() to quit the first. There would, however, be a pretty long (maybe 15-30 seconds) delay. I still recommend putting everything in one runtime.
ngoodman
my only concern with combining is they are 2 very different documents one is opc based and the other is modbus will this cause a problem?
AzeoTech
No, not unless you are using the opc server to communicate with the same device as you are with modbus.
