USB thumb drives in full screen mode

Hi,

When in full screen mode how could the operator safely remove a USB memory stick after down loading data files?

I believe there is a setting in windows that tells it not to write cache. Write caching is why you shouldn't remove drives without telling windows you are going to do it (because some of the data may not have been written yet). If you turn off write caching, then data is written immediately, so as long as they wait until it is done saving, they can pull the drive without telling windows. Where you change this varies depending on Windows version.

Can the Flush function be used to ensure that all the data has been written?

Probably, but I'm not completely sure, and I'd imagine windows might still complain about the removal (at least older versions of windows)
