Socket Error

I am constantly getting this error:

Socket error: 10060

Please help.

All Socket error: xxxxx errors are actual windows socket errors direct from the system. You can figure out what they are by simply searching for "socket 10060". We didn't sugar coat them because the causes of these errors can be very wide spread and the Internet is actually the best place to find solutions, even if they aren't talking about DAQFactory.

Anyhow, 10060 is simply "Operation Timed Out" and probably means that DAQFactory was trying to create the socket, but it timed out waiting to find the remote host. You probably have an Ethernet port trying to connect to an invalid remote location.
