bob_haselby
I decided it was time to upgrade drivers and firmware in my labjack UE9. Now some of my DAQFactory programs are broken with lots of errors. I also get a message that two copies of DAQFactory are running when I launch by double clicking an Icon on the desktop. I am running Version 5.84 of DAQFactory. Would upgrading to DAQFactory 5.86 make a difference?
AzeoTech
Upgrading is unlikely to fix it, though you really should upgrade because 5.86 resolves some security issues. The LabJack folks will have to address the rest. Perhaps you can provide more detail as to what errors you are seeing?
AzeoTech
The upgrade to 5.86 will fix the "two copies" problem though. Once you install it, go to File - Preferences and disable the 2nd instance check to eliminate this issue.
LabJackSupport
What sort of errors do you get? Does the test panel in LJControlPanel work properly? USB or Ethernet? Do the basic DF examples give you errors? http://labjack.com/support/ud/examples/daqfactory
