Triplc Channel Io Types

Are there any good resources for definitions of the I/O channel types for triPLC? For example, what is the difference between Set Register S16 (16) and Set Register S16 (6)? I couldn't find anything in DF help, here or in the PLC manual.

These are all Modbus types and have little to do with the TriPLC. The TriPLC simply supports Modbus, as do many other devices. Because of this, there are lots of I/O types that you probably won't use for the TriPLC. As to your particular request, the two I/O types do the same thing, they just use a different Modbus function for it. (6) is the Modbus function for setting a single register, while (16) is the function for setting multiple registers at once. Some devices only support 16, even when you are setting just one register, thus the reason we give both options. In general you want to select the (6) option.
