cadcoke5
When I install DAQFactory 5.87a, on my Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) I get a message from windows saying, "This program may not have installed correctly." I just chose "this program installed correctly." But, though it did open, I really don't know if all aspects of the program are OK. Attache is a screen grab of the windows warning window. Do you have any recommendations? -Joe
AzeoTech
Were you logged in as an administrator when you installed the program? I'm not sure what triggers that message. I get it at random times installing random pieces of software. My thought for you is that maybe it didn't register the activeX controls. Try adding a Gauge to a page and see if it draws. If you just get a white box, then it didn't install correctly.
NeilSS
Joe Very common issue. I just ignore the message and have never had an issue. Always installs correctly so long as you are an administrator despite what the message says.
cadcoke5
The first time I installed, I did not run it as administrator (though I am logged in as administrator). But, I did re-install using the "as administrator" option. it seems to be running fine. -Joe
