Clear Command/alert Window With Or Shortcut-Key Or Command?

Is there a short-cut key to clear the command/alert window?  Or alternatively, a piece of code I can put in a script to clear it when I run that script?

No.  The only way to clear the command/alert is to Right click on it and select Clear.
