For some reason Microsoft thought it should change the way errors are handled in their library for some function and not simply throw an error that can be caught. So, this issue cropped up when we moved forward with compilers (i.e. 5.90+) and does not exist in 5.87a or earlier. The problem has been fixed and will be available in the next release.
