AzeoTech Posted May 5, 2008 Share Posted May 5, 2008 Are you connecting via the Full Stream? Do you have Broadcast checked on those channels and the Broadcast Interval set to 1? Do the channels appear on the remote copy in the workspace but no data is received, or do they just not show up? Remember that it only updates the remote as new data arrives. So, if you have an output on the main computer that only changes every hour or so, the remote will only get the value when the output is updated. It will not receive the older data automatically. AzeoTech Posted May 6, 2008 Share Posted May 6, 2008 Yup, that is the actual purpose of slim stream: to allow you to share some of your data but not all. Its more designed for those sharing data with others running development versions of DAQFactory and not runtimes since you can control channel access in runtimes even in Full stream by simply not displaying the values.
