The notation used is VERY poor, as 0x in computers means a hex value, when they are actually indicating the modbus type (which they could have done in the section title or used 40,001 notation). Also, please be sure and post some text describing your problem rather than just PDFs so it doesn't look like spam. I came very close to simply deleting your post...
