SteveMyres
it seems that colors entered numerically in sequence code are interpreted as BGR (0x0000ff == Red), while the properties dialog seems to use RGB encoding (0x0000ff == Blue). Is this intentional or a bug?
AzeoTech
Not really a bug, but rather just how Windows works. Windows expects colors in BGR format, with red being the least significant byte and that's how its stored in the component. However, the web standard is to follow the name "RGB" and put red first, so is what the UI presents. Alas, that leaves us programmers to deal with the difference. Most people simply use the RGB() function in DAQFactory for scripting colors.
SteveMyres
I never noticed that function! In the few times I needed to programmatically control the color of something, I've always done it this way. Thanks!
